Dot pattern and V cutting are two common methods used to produce light panels. LEDCONN uses dot pattern technology to produce our LUXFIT light panels. This allows the production of a superior product in important ways, such as:

• Shortened panel production time
• Simplified adjustment of light density
• More even light distribution across the full panel

Conversely, V cutting uses evenly etched lines of the same width with varying depths. This process takes longer and offers less efficient management of light density and distribution.

To distribute the light uniformly and create the absolute evenness of light, white reflective dots are silkscreened (or laser etched) onto each panel so that the illumination will transmit from edge to edge without a dark center. Depending on the size and shape of the panels, the design of how the dots are distributed will vary. The white reflective dots are smaller and widely spread on areas closer to the LEDs, and conversely, larger white reflective dots are narrowly spaced on areas farther away from LEDs.

Every material used to create the LUXFIT™ LED Light Panel has been distinctively chosen to ensure optimal quality. Each panel is made of the optical grade PMMA acrylic to ensure the transmittance of light will always be at its best performance.

LEDCONN currently stocks light panels with a maximum size of 5 ft by 10 ft (1524 millimeters by 3048 millimeters).

LEDCONN provides a comprehensive installation guide with each panel. Review these instructions carefully to successfully install panels. Lead time depends on quantity:

• 10 units or less, roughly 1–2 weeks
• Between 10 and 25 units, 3–4 weeks
• More than 25 units, 6–8 weeks

High volume orders may qualify for expedited service with a lead time of 3–4 weeks.

Customers that include an AutoCAD or DXF file with their project can order organic LED light panels such as non-perfect circles. For pieces that exceed the maximum sizes, multiple pieces may be suggested.

LUXFIT LED panels are static and do not display digital LEDs.

However there is some capability to etch dot pattern imagery or text on the LED panel with our LUXFIT Graph. This would be a permanent etching and not transitional imagery or text as is found on digital LED panels.

Unfortunately, no. Although our panels may be provided damp rated, they still require an enclosed casing.
